The Ipad Is Girl Friendly.
I’ve been wondering for the last year whether to get an Ipad or not. It didn’t seem necessary at first, mostly because I already have a laptop and a desktop, and also because I thought I wouldn’t like using it.
And then…jeng jeng jeng…. someone gave me an iPad!! Well… loaned it to me, but it’s like a permanent loan…hehehe …so to this person (you know who you are) tq tq tq tq tq tq x1000!!!
I’ve used an Iphone before, so learning to use the Ipad is super easy. No manuals needed : ) It’s very intuitive.
And now that I’ve used it for 2 weeks I must say… if you are still sitting on the fence and and don’t know whether you should get it or not… just get it!! Especially if you are a high maintenance girl like me who always have long manicured nails…and so let me give you a list of why the iPad is so girl friendly :
1. The keyboard is touch sensitive. This means you just need to touch the typepad with the tips of your fingers…so there is no risk of spoiling your manicure. This is enough reason for me to want to promote the ipad to all women out there.
2. It’s really really light. Try to carry your laptop+charger+carrying case around. Not only is it really heavy, its also looks unelegant. And backpacks aren’t an option. Because backpacks make you look like a geek. Unless you do want to look like a geek ;p
3. Fuss free. No mouse, battery, charger, laptop carrying case to lug around. The most you need to do is invest in a silicone carry case or an ipad folder to protect the casing.
4. The battery lasts a loooooong time. I used the ipad constantly, and on full charge, I can safely say it can power 5-6 hours of browsing, typing and 2-3 Youtube videos. I got a car charger so I can charge it in the car while I drive, so it’s pretty much at 70-80% fully charged all the time, and I don’t have to charge it very long at home using the regular charger.
5. No user manual needed. Because its super intuitive and user-friendly, you don’t need a user manual to use to learn how to use/navigate.
6. The many many apps you can use. Don’t know what apps are? Click here.
7. Read online newspapers and magazines. Save the environment and stop buying paper newspapers and magazines. A lot of publications are now online, so you can just get the apps/online subscriptions for your favorite online papers and mags (which are usually cheaper than the physical versions). So carrying myiPad around would now be like carrying 100 magazines + newspapers around. I’m never bored anymore waiting for anyone or anything.
8. The notepad function. Last but not least, I love the notepad function because it enables a compulsive list-maker like me to constantly write and amend lists. I used to go through tons of notebooks writing lists… lists of beauty products to buy, list of beauty products to think about buying, list of beauty products never to buy….and now I can do it on a virtual notepad. So no more paper wasting for me. Again, super environment friendly, yes?
Here I’ve included some snapshots of me using the iPad:
Anyway, why are you still reading this? Go and get an iPad now . Hehehe.
